Molecule Destiny was officially selected for screening at the Festival de Cine Internacional de Barcelona part of the Festival without Frontiers and was shown at the International Scientific Film Festival, Hungary.
SCRIPT:
Mankind's eternal
quest; To control and tame his environment, to master his destiny
I have broken the final great barrier, I have solved mankind's final challenge
- to control matter itself
I can reach inside molecules and form them to my will, play with the building
blocks of the universe
With this awesome power, this finger of God
I propose to bend this spoon, a bit.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION:
Molecule Destiny was created
in After Effects from a series of still photographs. Each photo was scanned
at 9600 dpi so as to capture, and then focus on, the grain of the film. The
image was split into its separate channels (red, green and blue) and animated
using the 3D layer feature of After Effects 5.0
