A short gentle comedy concerning greed. On a scorching hot day one man tries every known method to steal another man's Watermelon - with little success.

Essentially a battle of wits between two lifestyles the piece takes place in real-time in a single location. A visual comedy built on facial expressions and reactions. The film takes the style of a Western with its exaggerated looks and shots and lands it in the heart of the British countryside.

It’s the hottest day of the year. Bright colours and overexposed whites are the order of the day. The film has a warm, sepia tint treatment with the melon itself hand rotoscoped to pop right out of the screen in vivid green.

This film used a collaborative approach with all contributors sharing ideas and approaches from pre-production to post.
