| A short experimental documentary that borrows the structure of the comedy sketch show and applies it to humanity's oldest quest - to understand our emotions. Below is a short version of the pilot |
This is a production with no formal agenda, no statement to prove, no storyline to outline and no theories to explain. Instead we aim to act as a facilitator to allow others to explore facets of humanity and what it means to be alive. The method we use is to produce multiple 'doc-lets' that attack the issue from every conceivable angle - spanning religion, science, culture, generation, history, social standing... Perhaps the best way to explain the structure and rationale for Quartz Shorts is to call it a travelogue of an emotion. The emotion in this instance is love.

Quartz Shorts is currently being considered by several broadcasters and production companies. It also won Best Documentary at the Bournemouth Short Film Festival 2003.
This project has
since been spun out into an on-line site.
